DLF on 1 October 2019 in eduZone (Library and Learning Centre) 14.00-16.00 hrs
We hope you all had a great summer. With the new academic term fast approaching, we’d like to invite you to our next Distance Learning Forum. The DLF was created as a network of those involved in our (now mainly online) distance learning courses. It provides a space to discuss challenges and solutions, and advocates for our off-campus students and tutors. This first meeting we’d like a lively discussion around our aims for the future. How do we see our role? How can we complement other University offerings such as the ASC series? What are the strengths and risks of changing our name from distance to online? How can we action our manifesto? Who should we involve and in what capacity? So whether you are already involved in the development or delivery of distance learning, research in this area, or just want to see what it’s all about, do join us.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday 1 October, 14-16.00 hrs in the eduZone in the Library and Learning Centre. Refreshments are provided.
