My Dundee

My Dundee is our virtual learning environment (VLE). Based on Blackboard Learn, it provides online areas for all your modules, including learning content, activities, assessment, as well as organisations for discipline and school information.
  • Overview and getting started

    Learn how to access My Dundee and some of the key institutional areas out with the learning and teaching modules.
  • Organisations

    This will explain the difference between the organisation page and the course modules.
  • Create and merge modules

    This will cover how to request, create and merge modules in My Dundee when it is required, this includes shared modules.
  • Managing course access

    Learn how to create modules and manage course access for staff and students.
  • Adding material to your course

    Explore how to create content for your course including how to create module areas and copy content from existing modules.
  • Create and use groups

    This will cover how to create groups in your Blackboard module and how to assign content to groups.
  • Assessing student learning

    Familiarise yourself with the assessment process in Blackboard from the various delivery options to releasing grades and providing feedback to students.
