What is it?
When editing a section in a Blackboard document, you will see a bar with several icons above the text box. This is the text editor which offers a variety of options when creating content in your document.
What does it do?
The text editor in Blackboard allows you to edit documents in specific formats, fonts, colours and text alignments. In the text editor, you can also create links, attachments and add external content.
What should I know?
Step 1: From within your Blackboard document, locate the section of text you would like to amend, click the three dots and select edit
Step 2: Left-click and hold whilst dragging the mouse over the text you would like to edit to highlight it
Step 3: Choose from the following options:

Step 4: When you are finished, click save. Alternatively to abort changes, click cancel at the bottom of the text box.
