Despite this, I'm pleased to announce that the Invitation-to-Tender has been issued on Public Contracts Scotland, where we're awaiting responses from vendors. Turnitin's annual User Summit was held on October 19th in Newcastle. They have noted that they are trying to address more of the needs of UK HE, and the keynote was by Kerr Gardiner , discussing the main themes from his consultation with a range of UK Universities (including Dundee). The project to upgrade Questionmark (the University's primary quiz tool for formative and summative assessment) to the cloud based 'OnDemand' service is continuing after a previously reported delay. The project is on course to move be completed after a controlled transition by February 2018 with formative assessments starting to be moved from the end of November.
