The Herald online

The Herald online

The University of Dundee now has on-campus access to The Herald, thanks to an initiative to provide free access to the heraldscotland.com website to all colleges and Universities in Scotland.  Sponsorship for the project came from CGI, a technology consultancy group, and it is facilitated by the IT company JISC, which provides digital solutions for the UK education & research sector.

Originally called The Glasgow Herald, this newspaper was founded in 1783, and is one of the longest running in the world.  The news website is available to all students and staff of the University when they are logged into the campus network.
