Support role fully functional

At the beginning of the 20/21 academic year, there was a new course role created called ‘Support’. This role has all of the same permissions as the instructor role, but can be used by support staff (such as school administrators, librarians, and staff from student services) in the module. This was created to help minimise student confusion about the instructors on the module, and clearly separate the instructors from the support staff. 

Early in 2021, it was brought to our attention that users with the ‘Support’ role were no longer able to enrol other members of staff on modules. After much investigation and discussion with Blackboard (the vendor for My Dundee), we have now resolved this issue! This course role now has the same functionality as the ‘instructor’ role.
