Resolved – Turnitin – Intermittent service disruption

Update – as this was not a specific Turnitin issue, their website doesn’t have any updates on service degradation; however, the downtime issues that were more broadly experienced have been resolved.

We have had a few reports that some users are experiencing errors when trying to use Turnitin in the past hour (12/1/20 16:00 GMT).

Turnitin’s status page is not reporting any issues, however, they have put up a tweet that this is a broadly occurring issue. 

We’ll update this page when we have additional news. 

We have been made aware that a number of users are experiencing intermittent issues whilst trying to use Turnitin. This is an ongoing issue affecting a large number of companies/services across the internet and is not specific to Turnitin.
