Turnitin Issues – Resolved!

Update 12:40 BST: This issue has now been completely resolved. Turnitin have confirmed that the issue occurred between 09:14 - 12:20 BST. Update - 11:35 BST Turnitin is now accessible so students will be able to submit work and staff will be able to review and add marks and feedback. YuJa: Scheduled Service Interruption

Anybody using YuJa between 17:00 and 17:30 on Wednesday, 20/07/2022 may find their access to the service interrupted and we advice everyone to avoid using YuJa during this time. Scheduled Turnitin Downtime

Turnitin has scheduled downtime for 9 July between 00:00 and 08:00 BST. During this time, Turnitin and the related tool Gradescope will not be available to staff or students for any purpose, including submitting assignments for students, and creating assignments and marking for staff. Although we hope that any and all disruptions to service will occur within this window, you should check the Turnitin status page for the latest information. 22/23 Module creation!

We are at that time of year again - all SEM1, SEM2, and SEM12 (year-long) modules will be created on the 20th of June. CTIL has been in contact with schools to confirm a few minor updates to the templates. Update: (10/05/22 at 14:40) Turnitin have resolved the issue. They have confirmed that it occurred between 10:22 and 14:05 BST. Turnitin have reported that they are currently experiencing service degradation. This includes delays in generating or showing similarity reports, and they are also reporting degraded service for Turnitin submissions. Resolved – Important Turnitin issue

Update: 29/04/22 at 12:21 BST - Turnitin have resolved the issue and we can confirm that service is restored. The issue appears to have occurred between 10:04 and 11:34 BST. Users were able to access Turnitin from approximately 10:45 BST, but there were still service issues including delays for generating similarity reports at that time.
