International Day of Action for Academic Integrity Oct 16

The ICAI (International Center for Academic Integrity) run an annual event, to help students understand what Academic Integrity is. It used to be the “Day of Action Against Contract Cheating” – though as many of us noted, “Contract cheating isn’t the only form of academic misconduct.

This year the theme is “All hands on deck: Making Academic Integrity Everyone’s job”

Poster for All Hands on Deck. The image is of a sailing boat called Integrity. There is a group of people aboard.
The words & phrases "Good Practice" , "Academic Conduct" and Plagiarism are floating in the sea.

There are a series of events that are running throughout the day, between 08:15 & 22:45 (it’s a global event, they’re not necessarily expecting everyone to be at all of it!

Please encourage your students to take part in the Student Contest.
