My Dundee Modules for Academic Year 2025/26 – Now Available
We’re pleased to inform you that modules for Academic Year 2025/26 are now live in My Dundee! Staff can now begin creating and preparing content for their modules ahead of the new academic year.
Module Creation
What You Need to Know
All modules currently listed in SITS for semester 1 and semester 2 of next academic year have been created in My Dundee. If your module is delivered twice in the same academic year (e.g. in semester 1 and semester 2), you will find two versions of the module in My Dundee, one for each semester.
Please double-check the module code before you begin editing or uploading content to ensure you’re working in the correct semester’s module space.
How to Identify the Correct Semester
The semester is indicated in the second section of the module code, as well as in the brackets at the end of the module title:
- ZX11001_SEM0100_2526: Module Title (SEM 1 25/26)
- ZX22001_SEM0200_2526: Module Title (SEM 2 25/26)
So look out for:
- SEM0100 – Semester 1
- SEM0200 – Semester 2
- SEM1200 – Semester 1 and 2 (the same instance of the module with the same students runs over sem 1 and sem 2)
You can find the module code in your Modules area or it is displayed at the top left corner of the screen once you have your entered a module.

FAQs
If you’re unsure where to find your new modules in My Dundee, what to do if you don’t have access to a module or how and when students are enrolled, you will find further information in our module creation FAQs guide.
The vast majority of SITS modules will have been created during this bulk module creation process, however, you may find that you need to request a new SITS module at the last minute. If this is the case, please complete our Module Request form, and when prompted, select that you require a new SITS module. Make sure to provide us with the SITS module code, who should be added as lead instructor on the module and which template you would like the new module created from.
Please note that modules delivering the same module content to different groups of students (e.g. at different levels, with different SITS codes) have not yet been merged in My Dundee – all modules have been created separately. The Educational Development team will be contacting schools soon to check whether shared modules from 2024/25 will be required again for next academic year. You can also request your modules to be merged using the Shared Modules form. Further information is available in our shared modules guide.
