You’ll have looked at the “Blend your Module” resources, and the session will cover the practicalities of getting your ideas into reality. We won’t be covering the technical “how to” – but we can point you to appropriate resources, when you have decided on the learning journey you’ll be creating.
Come alone, or come with a colleague you’ll be teaching with.
Sessions are 2 hours long.

Induction activities

An overview of induction activities that have been used in Education and Social Work very effectively, as well as ideas for other activities that have worked for others. This session explores how to support students by building in technical and online learning orientation activities that works as a student induction. The advantage of deploying a few key tools is that an online induction event can be created without technical or technological expertise that does not take long to implement and be easily reused for subsequent cohorts.  This session will be hands on, and active! Come and find out ways to get your students engaged from the start!

Date: Wednesday, 13 January – 10:05 – 11:15
