What is it?
You can delete groups or group sets as well as edit groups after you have created them.
What does it do?
You can change group enrolments, delete groups, or make other modifications to your groups after you have created them.
What should I know?
Step 1: Navigate to the Details and Actions menu on your module page and click on the link for View sets & groups.
Step 2: Find the group set that contains the group you want to edit or delete, open the three dots menu and select Edit.
Step 3 (delete a group): Open the three dots menu to the right of the group you want to delete and select Delete.
You will be asked to confirm that you want to delete the group. If any students were attached to the group, they will automatically be moved into the section at the top for Unassigned Students.
Step 4 (edit a group or group set): You can edit the group set name by hovering over it and selecting the pencil icon. For an individual group, you can change the description by clicking into the text box and you can change the group name by hovering over it and selecting the pencil icon.
Step 5 (remove a student): To remove a student from a group, click on the three dots by the student’s name and select either Unassign or the name of another group.
