Download documents in original and alternative formats

What is it?

You can download content including documents to your computer. This guide will take you through how to download a document from your MyDundee module.

What does it do?

When your instructor uploades a file to your module, you may have the option to download the original file (if your instructor has allowed this). You will always be able to download this in an alternative format.

What should I know?

Step 1: Find the file you want to download, and click on the three dots on the same row with it. Here you’ll have the option to Download Alternative Formats and, if you instructor has allowed it, Download Original File.

Step 2: To download the original file, select this option and then open the file from wherever your browser saves downloaded files.

Step 3: To download an alternative file, select this option. A pop-up window will appear with the formats that are available to download for that file.

Step 4: Select your chosen file type and click on the Download button at the bottom of the pop-up, and then open the file from wherever your browser saves downloaded files.
