What is it?
Panopto has replaced YuJa as the University of Dundee’s video management platform. While we were able to migrate your video content to the Panopto platform they are not linked to the appropriate Module within My Dundee.
What does it do?
This guide will walk you through the process of copying your video content to your desired location within My Dundee.
What should I know?
After migrating, your YuJa videos are in My Folder area in a folder called ‘Migrated from YuJa’. To make them appear in the chosen location within your Module, you’ll need to relink them. Remember, YuJa links are still functional, but the service will be discontinued soon.
The workflow presented in this guide adheres to the pedagogical design principles of embedding content alongside relevant materials in My Dundee.
What should I do?
Move your videos to your My Dundee video channel
Step 1: Log in to Panopto and go to your ‘My Folder’ area.
Step 2: Select the video or multiple videos that you want to move by clicking the check box in the top left corner.
Step 3: Click on copy from the top of the folder view. Click the copy icon. This will create a reference copy of your video.
Step 4: A window will appear, allowing you to select the destination for your videos. Open the drop down and expand the drop down under My Dundee, select your module.
